1. Introduction

Welcome to Trovey, a product of NurtureTech ("we," "our," or "us"). We are committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring the security of your family's most sensitive information. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your data when you use the Trovey application.

2. Data We Collect

To provide Trovey's core features, we collect the following types of information:

Account Information: Name and email address for account creation and authentication.
Financial Data: Investment holdings (e.g., gold, silver) and portfolio details you manually enter.
Health Records: Medical reports, lab results, and health trends you choose to store.
Documents: Files, PDFs, or images you upload to the Document Vault.

3. How We Use Your Data

Your data is used strictly for:

App Functionality: To display your dashboard, track investment values, and manage health records.
Personalization: To tailor the experience and reports to your specific data.
Authentication: To ensure only you and your designated family members can access your vault.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. Your information is never shared with third-party advertisers or data brokers. We use Supabase as our secure backend provider for data storage and authentication. Your data is encrypted in transit and at rest.

4a. AI & Third-Party Services (Google Gemini)

🤖 Optional AI-Powered Health Report Extraction

Trovey includes an optional, opt-in feature that uses artificial intelligence to automatically extract lab test names and values from uploaded medical reports. This feature is disabled by default.

What is shared: The contents of your uploaded medical report file (PDF or image of lab results). No other personal data, account details, financial information, or Document Vault files are ever sent.
Who receives it: Google LLC via the Gemini Generative AI API.
Purpose: To extract lab test names and numeric values for display within Trovey only. Not for marketing, advertising, or any other purpose.
Health data protection: Your health data is never used for advertising, data mining, or shared with any party other than Google as described above.
No model training: Google does not use your health report data to train its AI models (subject to Google's AI Terms of Service).
Opt-in only: This feature is off by default. You must explicitly check a consent checkbox per upload before any data is transmitted.
First-time consent dialog: The first time you enable AI extraction, a full-screen consent dialog explains exactly what data is shared, with whom, and for what purpose.
Withdraw consent: Go to Settings → AI & Data and turn off the toggle at any time. This immediately revokes consent and stops all future health data sharing with Google AI.

4b. Document Vault

Files stored in the Document Vault are never sent to any AI service for processing. They are stored encrypted on Supabase and are only accessible to authorized family members. The Document Vault is private, secure storage shared only within your family.

4c. Health Trend Analysis

Health trend charts and graphs in Trovey are computed entirely from lab values already stored in our database (previously extracted or manually entered). No live AI processing is performed for trend analysis. Your historical data does not leave our servers for this purpose.

5. Your Rights & Data Retention

You have full control over your data. You can view, edit, or delete any information stored in Trovey at any time through the app. If you delete your account, all associated data will be permanently removed from our servers within 30 days.

Health reports are retained until you delete them or delete your account.
AI-extracted lab values stored in our database are deleted when you delete the associated report or your account.
Revoking AI consent (Settings → AI & Data → turn off toggle) stops all future health data sharing with Google AI immediately. It does not delete data already extracted and stored in Trovey's database.
To request complete deletion of your data, delete your account from Settings or contact us at privacy@nurturetech.in.

6. Security

We implement industry-standard physical, technical, and administrative security measures. However, no electronic system is 100% secure. We encourage you to use strong passwords and enable biometric authentication where available.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the updated policy within the app or on our website.
